Mission….. Paint the dining room before the furniture delivery comes the next morning at 9:15.
Last Sunday Juhree and I purchased a dining room set to be delivered today. We knew that if we were going to get the dining room painted it had to be a late Friday night. We were up for the challenge at 9 pm and started the process. We wrapped up the base coat at 12:30 am. Still needing to faux the dining room walls, we woke up at 7 am and started the “ragging on” faux technique. Juhree and I were nervous about how it would turn out since this was the first time we had ever painted anything. Much to our satisfaction, the technique was easy and the 3 dining room walls look great. We had just finished the last touch up when the delivery truck came. As they got organized, we peeled tape and pulled back our drop clothes and painting tools. As you can see in the pictures below, the walls look great and our new dining room set is beautiful.
