I got a job! I started today full time for the company that I have been working with for the last year and a half (PMC Commercial Trust) . I will spend the next week or so helping out the MIS director with the loose ends for the Sarbox audit coming up and then I will move over to the Marketing Department as a Business Development Officer. This is a great opportunity for me to start a career with a company where I know everyone and a place with a great corporate culture.

I’m graduated! It feels great. The walk across the stage finalized this chapter of my college career. Now it’s time to move on and focus on accomplishing the goals Juhree and I have set for ourselves including buying a house, getting a dog, and creating a financial cushion to start a family.

Thank you to everyone for the graduation cards and gifts. The money went to a good cause(helping me get a JOB). I invested the majority of the money into 3 tailored suits (Navy, Black, and Charcoal Gray) a couple of dress shirts, a few ties, and a pair of black dress shoes. I also purchased a Dell X30 pocket pc with an Intel xScale 624 mhz processor etc……. (details here).

The graduation pictures are up. If you were there and have pictures on your digital camera, let me know and I’ll get them up on the website. Pictures

Vegas Recap
Juhree and I had a great time in Vegas. We did pretty well gambling, she played the slots and I played blackjack. There were a few occasions that I did really well. I sat down with a $20 at one table and turned it into $100 in a few hands. Unfortunately, I lost all but $50. That’s just the way it goes. We came back with half of the money we intended to gamble (that’s a good thing). We stayed up and on the go 20 hours out of each day coming back to our room just before the sun would rise in the morning. Our hotel was great, they upgraded our room two price levels for free. We ate well and saw a few shows. We saw a comedy show featuring Mac King at Harrah’s, the Tournament of Kings at the Excalibur, and Mystere at Treasure Island. For our anniversary we went to the Venetian to take a gondola ride through the Grand Canal Shoppe’s. From there we ate at a nice restaurant in the Mirage called Samba. It is a Brazilian Barbeque restaurant that specializes in rotisserie. We both ordered “The Experience” which is an all you can eat rotisserie. The waiters constantly walk around with skewers of different types of meat. We both thought that it was great. From there took a monorail over to Treasure Island for Mystere. Mystere is a Cirque de Soliel production that incorporates ballet and circus type acrobats. Juhree loved it and I thought that it was pretty good. I had high expectations after spending $100 per ticket. By the end of our trip we were exhausted but didn’t want to go home. There is still so much to see and do. Hopefully we’ll get a chance to go back soon.
Pictures from our Vegas trip. I will comment all of the pictures when I can. Enjoy!
